The course is aimed at Piping Designers / Engineers with Plant or Marine Piping Design skills, and will enable delegates to: 

• Create a Component Category and a component
• Create Point sets and Geometry sets
• Create General text, Detail text and Material text
• Create / Modify a specification using Catview
• Create an new specification using Specon
• Understand the AVEVA coding system
• Use IPARAMS, Design data Parameters and Design DB Parameters
• Create a Dataset and use in Design
• Create a Catalogue Specification for Nozzles
• Create a connection compatibility table and element
• Create a bolt set, bolt p-points and set the boltref on the catalogue components
• Create a property and set it in the specification
• Initiate a database consistency check
• Create the weld requirements in the catalogue and modify the specification to suit
• Set the naming formats and representation rules for your company.
