Winning Tenders + Introduction to the MDC Contracts & Tenders Database
Tue, 30 Jun 2009
Wednesday 1st July 2009
Marine Design Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne
There’s a big difference between writing tenders and winning tenders, and between being a supplier and a preferred supplier.
This stimulating and interactive workshop, in partnership with Newcastle specialist Nimis, will outline the size and potential opportunities of the public sector market and show you what you need to do to win a share of the estimated £175bn spent by public sector organisations each year.
The workshop will also see a demonstration of the new MDC Contracts & Tenders facility, showing how you can not only access tenders and opportunities, but gain an overall picture of the market and understand how you can fit into the supply chain.
The MDC Contracts & Tenders facility gathers thousands of public and private sector opportunities every week from across web sites, newspapers, databases and opportunity portals, which are then filtered to provide marine and offshore sector opportunities through the MDC website.
Access is free for member companies.
The facility can be used to:
- Access contract opportunities
- Bid for opportunities
- Follow tenders across UK, Europe and US
- Locate new customers
- Produce mailing lists
- Find out who buys your competitors' products/services
- Identify and monitor competitors
If you are overwhelmed, puzzled or even frustrated about bidding for public sector contracts, then this stimulating event can be your solution for success.
