Member Structure
There are three categories of membership - Regional Partner, Strategic Partner and Global Partner. Each category is explained further in the breakdown below:
Partners - Yearly membership fee £500
The vast majority of the membership falls within this category. It includes companies who have marine expertise and would gain competitive advantage from proactive marketing, identification of new opportunities, networking and events and skills development. The centre supports the skills and expertise of these companies, promoting them regionally, nationally and internationally.
Regional Partners include engineering consultants and design/draughting contractors CD Group.
Strategic Partners - Yearly membership fee £5,000
Specifically for companies with a service or special product of significant value to other members. Strategic partners gain from on-going exposure to a large number of potential purchasers.
Strategic Partners include leading software solutions supplier to the process, power and maine industries AVEVA.
Global Partners - Yearly membership fee £5,000
Global Partners are potential clients of the marine design community and as such are a very important and valued part of the membership. The Marine Design Centre facilitates the development of close relationships between large companies and the wider membership. Global partners gain access to the array of expertise and advice available when seeking value-added solutions on projects.
Global Partners include Babcock Design & Technology, whose principal business is the design and through-life support of naval defence and commercial marine assets.
